The truth is not determined by democracy. Argumentation can help us reach the truth, but only if both interlocutors entertain the possibility that they are wrong. downvotes are not arguments. Blocking people who disagree with you does little to prove yourself right, but moreso shows you’re afraid of being proven wrong.
