As someone who lives near a race course in the UK, I can tell you they ain't rich. I have a camera set up in my window which I stream into Discord on game nights that coincide with 'ladies day' so we can watch the 'ladies' punch the police and be thrown in the back of their vans. It's a better sport than going to the races!

Except the Nazi's declared a whole bunch of people to be illegal in their country and deported them to camps in other countries without due process. Y'know, like the US Government is doing now. I think my concern is more about creep, it's like an addiction. Small uncreases in usage over long periods of time go unnoticed. At the moment it's 'drug boats' in international waters, but small escalations like this add up to dangerous aggressions. It doesn't take much to move from anti immigration to anti foreign countries. A move the rest of the world is observing with a critical eye right now.
I suspect we all are, last time, in WW2 Nazi Germany didn't have the numbers or resources to fight on all fronts, but Maga America might depending on how the military view Trump's increasingly agressive demands.
It might have come up at the last meeting, but I dunno, I couldn't be bothered going.

I recommend the documentary 'Hail Satan' where they show an example of this, they put in for permission to erect a statue of Baphomet next to the pre-existing ten commandments outside a government building in the US. It goes as well as you would expect.

As a man reading these remarks, all I can say is I'm embarrassed for my gender. As someone later in this thread says, 'men are taught this is polite' which is true, but we should also adapt to people's needs. From now on, I'll make a point that if someone requests I go first, I'll just go, without insisting they go first. Obviously we're not all like that, but on behalf of my gender I apologise unreservedly. I wish I could do more to prevent this kind of toxicity.

I went through a rough patch which had mental health and addiction components, it was affecting my work and my boss helped me get the help I needed. I've been sober and happier than ever for the past 4 years. My work has vastly improved. A group of colleagues my boss included) and I, play Left 4 Dead 2 every night together while we all call each other c**ts. I'm especially lucky, and that's not lost on me, but I'm so glad I don't live in the US.
Whenever someone tells me, 'You can't say anything anymore', I love to ask the 'Oh yeah, like what?' and just watch the panic set in as they scamble to think of something that isn't the most racist, homophobic, transphobic, biggoted, cruel and obnoxious thing ever. I once had a guy reply 'You can't call dwarves, midgets anymore', I asked, 'Is that a big problem in your life?' which effectively ended the conversation.
