I read too quickly the first time around and thought Rich was your dad's cat, who somehow asked to adopt a kitten! Had to go back through and reread it a little slower. ๐Ÿ˜†

These are the best!

Now I want a donut-shaped hot air balloon.

I actually have. It worked out decently well for me, although I'm in a niche field that is often headhunted for specific experience. The company also knows that they'll have to pay around 1/3 of your salary to the recruiter. Some places budget accordingly, but others will post a lower salary because of that.

That's where my BIL teaches, and he enjoys it, from what I understand.

That's the reason you think it's fake?

I'm not sure how this is even a debate.

My mom is allergic to bee stings and cantaloupe, and also frequently has adverse reactions to medication or vaccines.

Absolutely. Way too enclosed for me.

Does the hippo have vitiligo?

I'm short, (and I always wear a seatbelt), but I understand this. When I drive certain cars, I'm left with red marks on my neck where it rubs/irritates the skin. My husband was baffled when I explained what it was from.

When I started my period, no one ever explained that you stop menstruating after menopause, so I had a lot of concerns about old ladies in nursing homes having periods and who would deal with that. Like, young teen me pictured my (late) great-grandma getting her period, and I remember feeling kind of grossed out, knowing she couldn't have really cleaned herself up.

Same! Is that not what it says?

PHM was so good! I liked it a lot more than the Martian, even though both were great reads.

My grandpa, who almost never calls me, called me unexpectedly during the work day. Thinking it might be urgent, I stepped out of a meeting to take it. He wanted to know if I still had one of his fishing poles. He didn't need it; he just wanted to know where it was.

And the one of the man who jumped the judge? That was pretty recent.

I thought the same thing!

This is how our warehouse works, too. It's on the truck and there's nothing more we can do, but you won't have any updates until it's scanned into a FedEx distribution center.

At our warehouse, you get the email the day the label was printed. But they don't print the label until they're packing up the box to put on the FedEx truck. So yeah, it's shipped, but FedEx won't show anything until it scans it in, likely the next day.

Surprisingly, we've had success convincing our families to switch to Whatsapp. Once our parents figured it out, they were fine with it.

@OP can you send me a PM? (I can't get it to work on my phone.) I have connections in Wichita that may be able to help, esp if you need anything for your baby during this time.

Wild horses wear them down naturally traveling to find grass to graze on. In captivity, they often wear down too fast (competing, walking on roads, pavement, etc) and need shoes to protect them, or too slowly because they don't walk enough and only need trimming.

It is very nice. And the YMCA there is named after him, too.

How is that modern or helpful? I have no idea how high an elephant's eye is.

They'll even eat the small scorpions we catch in our house. Qe just grab em with the scorpion pliers, drop em in the coop, and BAM! They're gone.

The old "hop on and ride until it stops bucking" methods need to die out, but plenty of trainers teach a horse to ride using humane methods.

We have to keep a D clip on our chains because our horse has been known to undo gates.
