I love how despite being an atheist, he's a prototypical Christlike figure. Suffering servant who hangs with sinners and speaks truth to the rich and powerful. Right down to a "resurrection" (spoilers) (but seriously has anybody not seen this show already?)

7) setting. Also, while all the characters of Dark live in a world severely fucked up by time-travel, they all have a strong foundation

6) For instance, when Jonas is captured by a warlord in a post-apocalyptic setting, he REALLY is captured by a warlord in a post-apocalyptic

4) it just seems like a semi-coherent collection of extremely odd events. The difference with dark is that the weird timey whimey events

3) any basis in reality at all. This isn't necessarily "bad" it's just that I'm not strongly invested in the show because up to this point

2) anything we thought we knew about them is even true. In fact we don't even know if any of the events that we've seen in the show have

1) Just speaking for myself. I don't have a good feeling for who the characters really are yet. Like even at the end we don't know that
