I spent my 18th birthday homeless they made it a little less shitty. The got me cake and sang to me. Honestly one of my better birthdays.
I was in a shelter for months after Katrina, I met some really awesome national guard/police I wish I could reunite with some of them.

My brother just died, he was an organ doner they didnt send us anything other than about his eyes being used. This would have been amazing.
