I used to believe strongly that when I “made it” to 100k I’d be set. That has proven false. I net around 92k/year in Toronto Canada and I’m treading water. Old car with the transmission going. Renting a run down place. Living in one of the “less desirable” neighborhoods far from the city centre. Budgeting every dollar. I’ve managed to pay off all debt and save a little but it’s hardly cushy. I don’t know how people making under 100k can survive.
The discomfort on the woman’s face next to him throughout this. Every woman knows that just-get-through-this smile. It sucks. And that’s what MAGA wants us all to be okay with.
So basically the plot of Divergent.
I thought this was going to be about pressure washing.
My kid and I made it out. I posted my experience if you’re curious. But it’s so different for everyone. Godspeed.

I hate getting advice so I try not to give it but it is useful to just lean into the pain
Can someone explain the drink for non Americans?
I just took some ibuprofen because laying down hurts.
I’m in a city where you can go to a nice stop & a bus will come fairly quickly but then you may get stabbed in the eye holes or set on fire.
