This is your public profile. Write something about yourself! No.
I would guess there are at least 125 in total now.
They just ran the test. I died.
You as well!
My 5 year old is going through this. He doesn't look like he has it either, but if you spend enough time around him and observe, he has a lot of the markers. I'm going back and forth about how much help he may or may not need in kindergarten. The not knowing what the right thing to do is the most nerve-racking part.
My family is holding off on going to Disney at the moment because of their governor.
The part that sucks as a service user is that my company does the entirety of the plan purchasing, and I only get to pick between low deductible, high deductible, and low premium with co-pays. So I've educated myself enough on the Affordable Care Act that I can protest a payment. The one I fought the hardest was an ultrasound for my 2nd kid. They denied the claim because "it was at a facility and not an office" where the scan was done IN THE OFFICE, but the office is part of a facility. WTF.
Also doesn't include the denials of coverage or medications from the insurance company. I timed my phone calls with Blue Cross IL last year, and it was about 8 hours of me telling them something was covered and them arguing it wasn't. I do it while working (since my employer picks the plan), so I get paid for my troubles and they lose work time.
I like to think of myself as a wine snob. I'm nice to the servers, but I'm particular about my wine. I'm not gonna take it out on people just making a living, that's just a dick move.
Fucking this. Between my premiums paid by me and my workplace, and then my out of pocket requirements, and ignoring the 'free preventative care'. I pay $18k before my insurance pays a god damned cent.
I see you admire a fine chin.
I find that I have to call BCBS at least twice a year to yell at them for them declining to cover expenses. And since my employer selects them as our coverage, I use their time and their money to call BCBS.
My premiums and deductible are $18,500 a year for a family of 4 before insurance pays a dime for anything that isn't considered preventative (and thus free).
Best they can come up with is give rich people even more money.
If you're pulling 5 Gs under braking, 4-6 Gs under fast corners, for 45 minute straight, then yeah, that's actually pretty good.
I've worked in product compliance for 12 years. The first response from management is "What if we ignore this?"
You want included all taxes? Property, income, SS, sales taxes?
Chilling. Damn that is a sweet Earth, you might say. WRONG!
... OUT OF HERE YOU LIBERAL POS! HOW DARE YOU NOT SACRIFICE YOUR INCOME TO THE DRUG COMPANIES. GO VOTE DEM IF YOU WANT LOWER DRUG PRICES"
"Hi, would you please sign this petition in support of the Senate Bill?" "What is it about?" "To raise drug prices for seniors" "No" "get...
As someone who's job requires that they submit files to the government in .pdf format, what other choices do I have?
It's also good marriage practice. Talk about big, important financial decisions that impact the other person together.
For the queen!
#6 It shouldn't be a full surprise. You should have already talked about it: design, price, size. You can surprise with the when and how.
I can only hope so hard!
