2 is better by a long shot. Path of Exile is good, but doesn't have the same feel. I need an HD remake of 2.
That's great, hard to find these days, Make and model?
Yes. This. A blacksmith mini game, similar to the cooking would be a great added mechanic that goes perfectly with the inherent foraging.
A black smith mini game, like the cooking, would be an easy add and a really cool addition to the gameplay.
You should be able to repair and upgrade your weapons with the items you find. You want a fire sword? Fire keese wing+ruby+sword.
Not to mention the horrible drivers. And lack of decent public transit.
Living in Utah the roads are always under construction and the winters can be vicious, having a Subaru has probably saved my life at twice.

You should love the new trilogy then because its nothing but shitting on the Skywalkers and the orginal films.
