Agree. It was a source of light in a reality of darkness. Inspired me to take up martial arts and the lessons I learned from the show and my own training have shaped the person I am today.Hard to believe a cartoon could hold so much weight in the heart of a ten year old, and still does.

My family has a legend about our ancestors being famous horse thieves in Scotland who got caught and were banished to Ireland.

It’s true. There are more advanced melanomas w/ mets in POC than with lighter skin due to more precautions and paying attention to the skin.
I honestly thought the anime side would just be a pair of boobs.

even tried to run my car off the side of the road. I had to pull off into a crowded parking lot, and pray that they would follow me. 4/?
to follow me for the next two miles flashing their lights, continuing to flip me off, tailgate, and get me to race them. Eventually they 3/?
Passengers in back saw me and proceeded to flip me off and make vulgar gestures at me before the driver sped off. The car then proceeded 2/?
