If this gets to FP I'll continue to procrastinate on whatever work I am supposed to be doing.

Yes.

That must have been really satisfying

15-20sec and massively impares your brain and makes you super loopy. There are audio clips of ATChaving to talk hypoxic pilots and its scary

Pilot here. It's not passing out that is the problem (although you still don't) it's getting hypoxia, the effects start really quickly #1

A land invasion could have killed millions, on both sides including civilians. You have no idea what you are talking about.

Literally training their women and children to fight the Americans with wooden sticks. The bombs dropped on Japan killed ~250k people #2

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Um... This is wrong on so many levels. First off, I would bet there would be many more civ deaths furring a land invasion. Also Japan was #1

Although the ships themselves would not have great combat endurance and mainly served as a defence force

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Russian surface ships were effective but only because of their advanced Anti Ship Missile tech at the time.

Do you really think Trump is smart enough to be KGB?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hydrogen bombs were not invented till after the war.

Hi my name is Mymomsaregay and I don't understand how jokes work

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Yeas but the US wasn't at war with one side our the other

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Every Ally was vital and the war wouldnt have been won if even a single of the major players wasn't part of it

Yes

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Probably would have given up after the US land invasion that would have killed hundreds of thousands of Americans and Japanese.

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

You have to be nearly braindead to think a civil war would happen.

Thanks for looking that all up! I'm surprised there isn't a bigger difference. Interesting to actually know the percentage

All of the cold war would like to disagree with you. Russia was a VERY strong naval power

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Surface ships are cheaper. Wouldn't be surprised if Russia has a higher percentage of subs so surface than another country though

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah sure. Good luck getting past the miles of anti sub patrols or not getting sunk by an American sub.

A leader in Anti-Ship and Anti- Air missile systems.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Basically the Russian strategy. Why try to compete when you can just get really good at making counters. This is why Russia is still #1

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

That is completely incorrect. Russia has some of the best missile tech in the world, and it's with out a doubt better that anything NK has

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Well Cruise missiles cover power projection.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well you lack any empathy.

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Layers of ground based anti air defenses are a much more cost effective method for their costal defense especially considering US air power.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Carriers are mostly offensive weapons and very expensive. Other methods of defense such as land (and sub) based Antiship and #1

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm sorry what? Please explain how the US has bee. "destroyed" in any capacity

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Um... The entire beginning of the cold war the Russians were kicking ass
