it's more about the problem people have with asking for help in general. lots of people out there live a struggle and don't want to burden others so they don't even speak up that they're in need of help in the first place. it doesn't have to relate to you specifically to still be a message someone may need.

my boss is pretty religious but he's very focused on 'love thy neighbour' and doing good things for others coming back to doing good for yourself. he also doesn't preach at others that they 'need to believe' like him.
