If the rooms for a kid, the hopefully there are two parents so still dual income. If not, at least child support and or gov programs to help
According to BLS.gov, less than 2% of age 25 and up make minimum wage. 16-19 make the largest at 9%. You don't NEED a two bedroom apt at 19.
Look, I get it. Min Wage living sucks. I've done it. I lived in a trailer that was over 50% of my income because I wanted to live alone.
Or if we go single income. $980. There are 10 complexes that have single rooms for $500 a month. There are rooms for rent as low as $325
$7.25x40x4-taxes= $980x2 (two people in a two bed apt) = $1960. Rent.com, there are 21 apts that are two bedroom for $700 a month.

If your an older adult, you shouldn't still be making minimum wage. I made minimum wage for years. Then I used exp to get better paying jobs

I live in Tulsa Oklahoma. This map is just wrong. You can find 2 bedroom apartments for around $650. 2 people making 7.25 can afford easily
