Sometimes...other times they've quit their jobs, used up all their money, and left the job market for 10+ years expecting not to need the money. Some left their families, or the families they had have died, and they're just....lost as to what to do with their newfound freedom.

Genuinely interesting topic, thankyou! I did my PhD on older adults living with HIV and one of the main things they said was that they just didn't expect to still be alive by now, so they have no idea what to do now.
You don't need a relationship to be happy, but it sure is nice to have someone to share it with.

Yes, BUT you have a limited amount of time with the kids (e.g. a year, ro sometimes a few months) and they do need to hand in something at some point, with enough time for you to mark it.
