Meh... I've been to restaurants with Stars that have mix matched plates... It depends on you are aesthetic. The more recent one coming to mind, had unique spoons for desert, you choose your spoon from a selection of 3-4 and each one was different. I think I chose one that looked like a shovel.. Blunt tip, twisted metal handle. There is no one rule that makes something acceptable in dining, IMO... My credentials? I eat food... Too much probably... but in several countries and most the states.
I want to use that Homer gif with the 'Isn't British yet' thing.. But I think it's more 'Isn't British anymore'...

Way back when.. EverQuest would have the mobs wield the item they had.. You'd see skeletons with swords of staves, and go after them first, cause they did more damage, and dropped things that sold!

I see two people socializing at school... Then getting bullied. Both of those things happen, but by your logic, the first wouldn't have been allowed, because that is 'not just learning'. So they' have never been able to talk in the first place. No one can control what other people do, even 'banning' something, just makes it less visible mostly.
My turn to bring my POV. We had a fair number of Christian moms fighting Halloween, and D&D in my school. So 'not allowed' did mean 'not allowed'... Like the words say. As for the school being for learning.. Were you around for COVID? Learning is not all schools are for.. Socialize, learn what makes you comfortable, and not. If all you want is learning, you're not going to get that from an unpaid class... Anywhere that I am aware of.

That being said, I never dressed up, but did enjoy seeing others who were more comfortable in themselves do it. The point was that school is for learning, and trying things before they have real consequences, and this school appears to be saying no to that. Bad policy IMO, YMMV.

When I shop, I see 'taco shells' I don't see 'tacos', implying what is inside is what makes it the taco. Not to mention there are soft, and hard tacos, meaning again, the outside is LESS important, than the inside in this case. That's my take on this matters.
Why is a mantis shrimp a mantis shrimp when being neither a mantis, nor a shrimp? Sometimes names not entirely accurate. Taco Strew gets across the flavor profile, and the delivery method, I'd say.
I buy the wagon wheel shaped one at my local Mexican store... They're delicious. I fry them in beef tallow I render off when smoking briskets... They're a bit addictive.
This is only true for debts already incurred. If it's pay first, you don't have to accept cash as payment from my understanding. I see why companies don't want to take cash - Going to the bank and having to deal with someone actually being responsible enough to handle deposits. It's still a bad idea IMO to be cashless. Systems go down, and then no one is trained on how to keep the business open.

I was moving years ago with a crated cat.. Was carrying him into the new house when a motor cycle decided it was a good idea to rev as loud as they could... He got out somehow and managed to catch him, but he just sank teeth and claws into my arms... Kinda just had to hold that until he decided he wasn't dying because it was a new area and chances are I'd never see him again otherwise. Cats give 0 fucks if you're helping or not.
