Yeah i know, quite surprising to realize that society impacts every aspect of our life.

rangoon technically works, bonus points if you include a variant of the Crabb name in it.

It ignores the entire context of living in a patriarchal society and everything it involves in terms of sexual harassment they have to go through as soon as they enter their teenage years. The bear vs. man thing exists for a reason. It's good that most of them took it well, one of them was so done, and it's not hard to guess why.

No. You would literally do it yourself by organizing with other people. You know, like MLK and other civil rights activists did. Again, you're clearly uneducated on the subject.

When did you vote on abortion bans, on gun laws, on medicaid, on going to war in Iran, on invading Venezuela ? Who chose the supreme court ? Can you revoke them ? What is happening when people decide to protest ? What does the police do ? who control the police ? You need to educate yourself.

You can literally google it. Elective Democracy is by nature a hierarchy because people get to decide laws on your behalf regardless if you agree or not.

"Only liberals are immune to this model" You.

Google what anarchism is, look up Proudhon or Kropotkin. You are obviously uneducated on the subject.

That's still a hierarchy, they have power over you to decide for you.

That's incorrect, ad hominem mean i attack you instead of your statement, i did the opposite, i directly showed your statement implies you're right by nature, it's an extremely dangerous statement to make, and that's a circular reasoning...

I'm an anarchist, i don't want a daddy, quite the opposite, i want a direct democracy. You literally have a President, you don't have agency. You do what the ruling class decides.

You literally have a president. Elective democracy by definition is a hierarchy, because you elect people to be the leader and make those decision on your behalf.

"Only liberals are immune to this model" you're literally calling yourself special.

Liberalism is pro-capitalist political ideology, the oligarchy in the US is literally the one subverting the system for their own interest and crushing any dissidence through the creation of a police system that is made to maintain class hierarchy.

Liberalism literally fit your own definition of the "ism" proning elective democracy rather than direct democracy. And talking about illiterate or lazy while thinking you are actually righteous by nature and cannot ever be wrong literally fits into that as it stops you from ever questioning and thinking about your own beliefs. I think you should look into what liberalism really is rather than what you've been told it actually is.

It's easy to rewrite history, but being adamant during her campaign to try and seduce the moderate right winger over non voter/independents/left-wing people and not going to Rogan's podcast is still self-sabotaging.

Rogan is a complete moron, it's not hard to use rhetoric to work around it, she literally has been trained (at least i hope) to do so. Sanders managed himself very well on his podcast when he went, likewise for some other women to talk about certain subjects. Obama was extremely good on that front, even to the point he got racist morons to vote for him twice by talking around the gun debate subject when directly asked for example.

I literally blamed her advisor, whoever that is. Not her. Nobody is a victim except the average person, it was a stupid strategic decision. making up a point i didn't make is so weird. Well i'm an European leftist, so yeah, for me the democrats are as much to blame for supporting the capitalist system because fascism is a tool of said system used by the oligarchy to maintain their own power.

Blame her advisor. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/politics-news/kamala-harris-regrets-not-appearing-joe-rogan-podcast-1236415162/ "(...) Meanwhile, Harris said during her recent podcast appearance that she wanted to go on Rogan’s show but was advised not to “because they assumed, as it turned out to be correct, that he was supporting Trump and that it would not be a productive piece for me.” "

It's not ever just "reading the news," especially when people writing it can use the magic of language (remember the passive vs. active voice) to frame events a certain way or who they get the reports from (reading what the police reported or the government, etc).

Don't people remember Guantanamo bay ? They literally tortured people they knew were innocent so badly they had to be amputated, and some of them to the point they died. Then there's people being forgotten in jail cells and dying among other things, US has always been awful to people in detention. That's a systemic issue.

Do you really trust them handling your belongings that are both expensive and hold sentimental value to you ? I'd be ready to pay for another seat if i was a musician traveling with my instrument.

Imgur literally has post saying democrats should stop focusing on "culture war" and pronouns and whatever else right-wing points that is just a dogwhistle to talk about trans right and right of minorities, so it's not exactly a surprise to me. A lot of people are ready to sacrifice their apparent progressiveness as long as they can keep their comfort.

He's the guy who aired people who became infamous for saying th n-word and getting supported out of it. The problem is just that the open threat of violence goes against the idea of using racism within the context of "respectability". If she were racist the right way he wouldn't have a problem with it.

Surprisingly, collaborating is as big of a problem as being the one committing those atrocities. We literally had trials against people who collaborated with nazis.

The to rest of the world, never. It's what the US has always been.

He looks more like a young Trump than any of his other kids... Not need to gaslight ourselves just to try and have a go at him.

The biggest problem is the democrats unwillingness to actually be progressive and the liberals pushing to vote for them regardless. The UK also has a huge brainwashing media empire, the Greens won a by-election that shows signs that they could become an alternative in the next general election, all of that while campaigning with a more leftist platform, not unlike Mamdani. Some lessons are hard to learn in the US.

I don't know about Kojima, but i sure know that Miyazaki (Dark Souls) would be fitting here nicely.

I stopped after 3DS games myself, looked at the trailer of the new game (Wind and wave) and it kinda looks exciting to be honest, a bit reminiscent of how first gen felt to me as a kid in terms of adventure. They took more time to develop the game (it only comes out in 2027), and while it still has some limitations graphically it looks more polished than previous Switch games.

If i remember correctly, some leaks revealed that one of the big guy who worked on the games was into freaky stuff. And not just being kinky either. Can't remember the details but it was a big subject at the time if you follow pokémon.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was talking more about general lore, like there was a war before Red/Blue, which used pokémon as weapons, the Pokémon world, going by the plot of X/Y has its equivalent of nuclear weapons. Then there's the entire thing around treatment of pokémon in itself, obviously they are food, but it's said in Ruby/saphire/Emerald that pokémon and humans used to marry together and have children.

Even darker when you dig deeper into the canonical lore of the games.
