I'm just here for the laughs
After this term my guess his political aspirations could be done. He cannot run for governor again for at least one term (FL has 2 consecutive term law currently, with 1 term break). He could potentially run for congress but would have to go up against some currently heavily liked republicans already in office. (I use heavily liked as in heavily republican liked, not liked by everyone)
My kid loves the sport along with lacrosse. He doesn't play a bit of it, he enjoys filming it and making the edits for it. He's great at it and won a state school spirit award against all the other schools who submitted. He organized with 4 other schools to do a April 1st prank by playing other schools news on the day. It's his passion and my wife and I 100% support it.
This was the wife, son (5yo at the time) when we sold everything we could and moved for a job. Camping chairs to sit on in the front room and a folding table and chairs for a dinner table. This was in 2011. Been with the same company since and still remember those days when fb memories pop up (the only reason to keep fb at this point)
This is how my grandfather was. He knew I was my mothers son, and that my mother was his daughter, but did not see me as his grandson. My mother tried to force it with him, I told her it's fine and just let it go. I just sat and listened to his stories about his time in the army running supply lines in Italy during WW2.
Going to college is his idea. I presented options of college, trade school, freelance/entrepreneur ( he's a good sports highlight editor), or just generaT labor. He's got a plan to succeed in life and be happy. That's all I want him to be, is happy.
Not knowing what they are interested is so true. When my son was born I had all these ideas in my head about playing with star wars toys and read comics like I did when I was a kid. Thought he would like it too. As he got older I tried but he just doesn't like those same things I did and is interested in other things. Perfectly fine. I'm letting him follow his passions and dreams and learning things he is interested in instead. He's planning on going to college for media and TV production.
I remember mine as well. It was broken in so many spots because my mom couldn't afford a new one and got a used one somewhere. Didn't care, still had lots of fun. For some reason we had a huge dirt pile in our yard (brothers dad had it delivered for some plan then dipped). My brother and I spent hours with toy cars(and action figures) in it, digging tunnels for them, creating story lines. We never knew how poor we were then, just that we were just having fun on a daily basis.
Appreciate it but I was more hoping that I could help you out in some way with how you are currently feeling with your losses. :( Be sure to take care of yourself mentally and allow yourself to grieve when you need to.
In 2015 my grandmother died in Feb, wife's life long best friend since 5yo died two weeks after. 6 months later my mother died in car crash, and a month later we had to put down our pup of 15 years. I completely understand the metaphor you used to explain it. We are now 9 years from all that, and I still grieve and hurt. It's not that you stop grieving, it just find easier ways to deal with it as time goes on. The love, the hurt of them missing never leaves, just how you deal with it is better.
He also said its better for the environment because people would buy theirs and ship back the cartridges so they can be recycled. Still wouldn't buy one that requires a subscription because I don't believe it's for some altruistic idea
Born in 77 and seen the guys of Jackass crashing shopping carts into bushes and could only think damn, why didn't we get it on camera when we did it!
Definitely customers and patents. In my case they acquire other companies because they see how it can impact our current product and instead of starting from scratch they just acquire them and integrate their product with the current one.
My company did this 15 years ago. Let the OG's go because they lived in a different state with a no remote policy and were closing their office. Handed me software written in a language I didn't know dealing with an industry I didn't know after being there for 6 months and just out of college. Everything worked out in the long run but they learned a lot of lessons and that was the last time they did that when acquiring companies.
So tired of this argument. It's like people from other countries telling us "Well you all voted Trump in". Not all of us did but all of us have to deal with it.
Makes me miss mine that was 19 years old and crossed the rainbow bridge in 2020. My wife wanted one and when we went to the pet store she was looking at all the cute ones. My guy was put on sale because no one was interested in him at all because he wasn't typical colors or cute. That's the one I wanted. We left and came back the next day and the cute ones were all sold and my dude was still there. He went home with me that day and was with me through so many events in my early adulthood.
Didn't care to ever look back and see how the department fared after I left, I just didn't care as it was a job. Not caring freed me so much of the stresses that come with trying to do a good job to keep the job.
Fired a few times myself. My best was when I didn't care if I was fired, I was in college and knew the end goal. It was a distribution company and they tried a company loyalty speech on me when I said I didn't shop in the stores. Simply told them I don't care and went about my work. My direct manager left me alone and didn't care either because he knew that I was going to do above and beyond my quota if they just left me alone. New manager came in, didn't like my non loyalty attitude, fired me.
Also if it gets turned down initially appeal it. It usually goes to an 3rd party phone call where if it's not documented like others said the company will lose. Happened to me once and I won in the appeal when the arbitrator asked if I had any written warnings or notices prior to the offense. When they said no then he ruled in my favor.
Same thing with my wife's family after her grandmother died. 6 children. One of them went to a lawyer and asked all of them to join her so they could turn the family farm into an estate that all 6 of them would have to make join decision to sell. It's what her grandparents wanted. One of them freaked out over some wording thinking they were about to get taken for everything even though none of them went to the lawyer. The farm is still in her grandparents name for the last 4 years.
I almost bought this pre-order/day one. I thought surely they would of figured out the performance by now. Glad I didn't
They are like 6.99 when you buy two or more here. I never get delivery though because I used to deliver and manage a papa johns and I know some of the behaviors of some of these deliver drivers.
I lived there for 4 years. It's not a bad city per say, it's just the sun never shines. My son was prescribed vitamin D pills because he could not get enough sun despite playing outside all the time. Then there is the snow, the snow sucks. You get done with the drive to turn around and realize you have to do the drive again. Then you realize you have to dig the end of the drive out because the snow plows blocked it again for the 5th time. The no sun and snow is what makes it suck for me
Grew up in Indiana in a city about 30-40 minutes away. As soon as I saw the house design without reading the title I knew it was from that area of Indiana. Lots of homes more around 80-100 years old there have similar designs.
Very true statement. A lot of us don't want either choice, we are just choosing which one is going to be better for the country. Biden is doing a good job, don't get me wrong. I, like many, don't think that someone who is in their 80's should still be trying to run the government. Biden will be 85 at the end of a second term.
Not all of us. He can't run again for at least 1 term either since he was voted in concurrently for 2 terms. Unless he changes the law
That's the thing he was always full anti-woke people just refused to see it due to party loyalty. As a Floridian it sucks.
Crist has always walked the line between the two parties.
Pretty much keep it for the memories that pop up. My mother passed away in 2015 and I like seeing the things she interacted with me on.
He can't run again as the current law sits. He can only serve 2 consecutive terms at a time.
Good news! Current Florida law has a term limit of two consecutive terms. He would have to skip a term and then run again. I say current because they will probably try to change it later.
