Gay men can donate blood if they haven't had sex (protected or unprotected) in the last six months. In other words: we can't.
Every place that takes blood donations is bound by the Red Cross rules. If it were as simple as going somewhere else, I absolutely would.
Here's hoping for that change then. As it is, I can't even take advantage of those "quick money" blood plasma places.
