Japan here. Under-65s still mostly can’t get it. Cases have more than doubled during the olympics and no vaccine in sight for most ppl.
Delima….
Mercari have a fairly large diversity and inclusion division and focus on mental well-being. Good company from all I hear.

I don’t know what ‘ih’ sounds like but ‘nee’ is nī which is the double vowel. Listen to the video below if in doubt I guess.
From Japanese. Pretty fluent ha I g lived here more than half my life. Nissan is a short i, not a long ii, so it sounds like the I in ‘it’
‘Nissan’ pronounced correctly does not sound like ‘Neeson’. Nissan’s ‘Niss’ sounds like ‘Piss’. Source: I’m a Brit living in Japan.
Generally speaking, unless your previous employer is paying you a salary while you’re not working, most non-competes are unenforceable.
Kudos to anyone trying to improve themselves but damn... that gym kit needs a wash. Never seen sweat that colour.
Still a better fit than Trump’s.
‘If you’re hot then they’re hot’ does hold true though.
Fact: in japan they call canned tuna ‘sea chicken’.
Such a shame they could only get about 1/3 of the story into the anime for budget reasons. The manga is well worth a read.
Damn that’s a cheap delivery fee.
*caste. Sorry!
I quit One Year No Beer for just that reason. It’s like the proverb: leave the raft behind after you have crossed the river.
That’s Soba, not udon.
Sleep is one of the few things where effort and results are inversely proportional.
I went to high school in japan and lived here for 15 years. The only place I’ve ever seen this is imgur.
Some of these look pretty good tbh. Anchovy and pineapple sounds great.
Hokkaido here. 400kg bears. Don’t leave your biodegradable rubbish outside! Though the disposal stations are cages just in case you do.
Nice place by the way. I know my small digs in Tokyo were nowhere near that clean!
Take care! At least Japanese people, for the most part, have a high sense of societal responsibility. Masks have been the norm since January
Chinese chives (ニラ) are fantastic in the right dish. Fried into an Asian style omelette. In mabo-tofu. Etc.
15 years even ?♂️
There is no lockdown in Japan. The constitution doesn’t allow such laws. In fact they’re subsidising travel. Source: 15 hrs living here.
In Japan you can only buy one if you win a lottery draw. At present there are about 90 people for every 1 machine. Beats scalpers tho.
I’ve got that pen! Xmas gift from my little sis. Feel like I know a celebrity.
