I really like old school Warhammer stuff. Slowly sharing old and out-of-print painting guides as and when I can

#4 a personal head canon, Klingon's aren't a proud warrior race, it's just the majority of Klingon's we meet in Star Trek are in the military. Klingon's are a 'put your whole ass into it' culture, it doesn't matter what they choose to do, their is honour in it so long as they go all in and seek to be the very best they can be at it. The finest croissants in the Alpha quadrant are made on Qo'noS by a Klingon who fell in love with French baking and has elevated it to new heights

I saw a YouTube link and I thought to myself "I hope that's Harry Enfield's Dime Bar commercial, that would be brilliant"

I have the '6 Foot Concordant' in my house, anywhere over 6 feet above the floor is theirs to live in, anything breaching this line will be removed. I'm short enough that this leaves a nice dmz between my head and their webs, and takes care of most of the pesky summer flies

#35 It's very clean, though I am concerned that the cistern is not adequately connected to the wall

Ah, fair enough. We can't all like the same things, would make for a very boring publishing industry if we did

I spent most of the 90s reading these books, and by god were some of them utter drivel. Having re-read some since lockdown I think the X-Wing and Heir to the Empire series stands up to the test of time as fun stories that feel like the OT, but anything after the Yuzhong Vong appeared just got miserable. Feels like destroying half the galaxy in a lazy attempt to raise the stakes did the setting no favours
