Thanks Hyyr. We are doing pretty well. Kanoko's incision is healing up nicely now that the stitches are all out. We were worried she would have trouble with lots of things, like doing toilet and jumping up and down, and even walking, but it turns out she's had the best outcome possible. Me? I'm just getting old and a bit tired. How're you doing?
You're welcome Hyyr. Happy New Year to you friend.

Wow! Just, WOW! What a great job he did. Mind you, he had a lovely canvas.
Where was this shooter when the orange-shit-stain-bone-spur-nazi had his ear nicked a while back?
I'd love it if we had cardinals in our garden. The new bird-feeder I put up a while ago is a complete failure - not a single bird has visited.
Matilda looks lovely sitting up like that. It's a pity she has to be tied to the stroller. I can't get any of ours to wear a harness even in the house, let alone in the outside world.
They're lovely shots Cowgirl. Any interesting birds recently? I put up a new bird feeder, and they're avoiding it like the plague.You're lucky you have flowers to take shots of. We're having an extended heat-wave and everything is burned to a crisp!
Trump does that all the time; goes and shows empathy for poor kitties. No, wait. I meant 'doesn't do that any time'. He's too busy making America great again. No, wait . . .
Wouldn't it be appropriate for his heart to violently explode during a live fox news interview? I mean 'bursting out of the orange shit-stained asshole's skin' violent.
Sorry to hear about you losing your little girl. I know all too well how devastating it can be. They do say that one way to soften the pain is to make a home for another member, so it might be just the right timing for your new stray to turn up. We lost our Mugi-chan and Fuku-chan last year, within months of each other, and I still feel bad whenever I think about them. I have zillions of photographs of them and all the others we have and had, but somehow they're not enough.
No shot of Matilda attached, but I know what you mean. Our three mind the heat a lot. We run air-conditioning every day for them, but they still look exhausted.
Thanks Hyyr. Everyone is good, buts suffering a bit in the heat we're having. Yuki? I doubt he'll ever forgive me. To take shots of him, I have to catch him asleep outside and kind of sneak up on him. How goes it at your household?
@TruckStopRats @loopdesigns @Hyyr @alfmeister6227 @feren @OrdinaryBiker @MeowstophelesTheeCatMonster I hope all of you are good and healthy . . .

Hey Youngster! Long time no see. Things haven't been well on the health front for a while, so no new posts from me. I'll try to get to it soon though.Take care Meow . . .
Thanks Hyyr. I hope you and yours are doing well too. Looking forward to anything you post.
I'll be around for a good long while Cowgirl, but I know what you mean :(
I missed talking to you all. We're missing our Timbo, who would always be the first to comment, but I'm looking forward to hearing from the rest of you when you've time . . .@TruckStopRats @loopdesigns @Hyyr @alfmeister6227 @feren @OrdinaryBiker @MeowstophelesTheeCatMonster
That's not all of it either. He arrive at our doorstep with one toe misisng, then he had another toe removed because of bone cancer, then he had an impacted canine tooth removed, then he was operated on to fix a bad sinus problem, and now his kidneys are failing and he has to have a saline drip three times a week and a handful of medicine every day. He's hanging tough though, and we're thinking/hoping he'll be with us for a good while longer.
Thanks for your kind words. Chataro means something like 'Big Tea Colored Boy', which we think is appropriate. Taking care of him has been one of the best and most rewarding experiences in my very long life.
He's done a fine job. It was hard and painful work, but he's ended up living the good life and making my days that much better.
He IS wonderful, right? So it's not just me who sees that?
Thanks. That's a nice thing to say. I know that loving this little cat has changed me.
I think there's a pretty kitty inside them all. Some just need a bit of help to show it.
It's early morning where I am, and Pippi's little story is a great start to the day. Whoever you are Irish, you're a good human being. Thank you.
@TruckStopRats @loopdesigns @Hyyr @alfmeister6227 @feren @OrdinaryBiker @MeowstophelesTheeCatMonsterIt's hard to believe he's the same cat . . .
Thanks again Hyyr. As I said before, you always say the nicest things.Photography has taught me to look more closely at things, to find what we don't usually see. Even then I'm often surprised by something I still didn't see. Like a tiny insect sitting on the back of the insect I'm taking a macro shot of. When can we expect some more shots from you? Soon, I hope.
