Unfortunately many general gyns have very outdated info or straight up misinformation regarding endo. Yes it is a Facebook page but the surgeons on it practice by peer reviewed lit including excision surgery as a gold standard for endo. You will not find this with the majority of general gyn.

Please be careful taking that med. It’s not meant for long term use and can have irreversible side effects. Nancy’s Nook Endo page on Facebook has a ton of resources and trusted surgeon list.

I’m with you on all of this. Are you in Nancy’s Nook group on Facebook as well? Pelvic PT was a miracle for me before my hysterectomy & 2nd excision.

I'm so sorry. What a blessing to be present at the end of his life that way.

Tbh I’m not sure. There is so little research put into this area of healthcare. If you’re interested in reading more from reputable published doctors, there’s a group on Facebook called Nancy’s Nook that has a ton of up to date endo resources in one place. They have a list of “approved” surgeons worldwide. I got mine (in NC) added to the list after my surgery in 2019, she’s amazing.

Anecdotally, some people do feel relief from hysterectomies but it’s not fully explained why since the lesions are found outside the uterus.

Trained but still may not be trained enough to see minute disease. Please check out the group before making any more decisions.

Please join and read on Nancy’s Nook on Facebook. Tons of good information including when your “scans” are negative. I know your doc is MIGS

You won’t get more in EMS. All of the EMTs and medics I know work several jobs to make ends meet.

I want to point out that ECMO isn’t even helping people, especially since we are waiting too late and rationing it.

Sounds like we may be coworkers. I sobbed at work twice the other day then all the way home. I’m so tired.

It took me 20 years to find a doc that would listen to be and believe me. Many never find that.
