I'm in HR. Jobs are fickle, ESPECIALLY high end positions. Law school is a start to a career, leading to many jobs, regardless of a lawyer
He could also be laid off tomorrow or have a toxic boss. It was a gamble either way.
She still chose law school. Your comment makes no sense. They PLANNED that. He wanted her to end her career choice over a whim job.
Not true. I'm in HR. Dream jobs are fickle. Never a guarantee. School has a guaranteed result. He was asking her to give up her career
But it wasn't a sacrifice if he ended up not sacrificing on the first opportunity? Speaks volumes on him as well.
That's assumption, otherwise he'd say "I pay the bills"
Or he's a jerk. My ex assumed the same about me... yet I now make more money and own a house while he lives with parents.
Or he's just as self absorbed. Law school is not something you do on a whim. Imagine making plans for years and then someone bailing.
Not sure why. I'm in HR. I guarantee you can be laid off at any moment. WARN is only applicable under certain conditions.
Just seems odd. You can't go to law school on a whim. He chose his consideration for a job over her entire life's work to start a career
No kidding. Its insane. He chose his "dream job" that may or may not work out over her entire career choice. Classy.
Exactly! I'm in HR. Your Dream job, could end up a nightmare and then you BOTH lost your dreams.
My ex said the same crap about me in HR. Guess who makes more now and has her own house?
Not upvoted enough
and then both could be out of their dream. I think it was just as harsh for either of them.
imagine if you'd been planning something for years and someone ends it for their own opportunity. I'm in HR. His job could be eliminated.
Not enough context. How long had you both been discussing moving for her school? Seems harsh to immediately end her dream in an instant too
Please elaborate? Does Lion King have humans and I missed that?

Pew Research Center survey which concluded about 12% of liberals and 10% of conservatives believed that childhood vaccines are unsafe.
As a single working mom of two... makes some boundaries. You NEED that stress relief for sanity.
I'm 100% I do it more than my man.... however... i dated a guy who was obsessed with masturbation and was a chronic cheater... so...
Mine crashes constantly
How do I become this kind of wife? I've been married and have had bfs... and it seems to work the opposite for me. Everything I do is wrong.
It's a doll? Chill
Ya.... I have a cartoon on my foot... regret it immensely. If people made fun of me, I would just agree. (has happened multiple times)
I'm 30. make more money than my man, own my own house ect. And i'm still in love with him. This doesn't mean its like this everyday.
My bf and I are like this, but I have a successful career, my own house, ect making me very busy. When we get together we just adore it.
Or maybe she has a super successful career, makes more money than her man, owns her own house, but CHOOSES to express adoration? Thats me.
i have this relationship, but it includes convos and adventures. I'm not sure why you think it wouldn't be there as well... its a comic?
