Hello. I am a retired Professor, working in Commercial Mosquito Control, for the Global Leader in Pest Control. I really enjoy my daily visits to Imgur. I especially enjoy seeing my contributions to this site and reading and responding to the comments. This is my 3rd Flash II. Found the 1st one and it went (inadvertently) down the toilet. The second one was left on the side of my truck and when I realized the mistake, it was lost. This third one is more than 10 yrs old, and has been battoned to split firewood while camping and sharpened so much that the serrations are now almost gone. I have a brand new one in it's original packaging once this one is gone. I have several other versions (Flare and keychain models) but my favo is the Flash.

Professionally, the Mosquito Control Techs, in Integrated Mosquito Management, use Mosquito Eating Fish (Gambusia sp. aff. affinis) in neglected pools and other potential mosquito breeding sites, rather than using BTI. I really enjoy seeing the fish decimate large quantities of larvae, and try to feed the fish often, with collected samples.
