Someone's yum is cheering about suicide? And not just about their own, in a "Ha ha" way, but making a joke about forcing someone else to kill themselves and then laughing about it. If that's what's funny to you, so be it. My point was you don't know your audience and that stuff can harm someone without you intending to.
There's nothing comedic about cheering someone on to kill themselves. No amount of anime girl cringe can ever make that funny.

It would absolutely fail very quickly against any kind of attack. It's all gaps, and the point of armor is to deflect the attack away from you and minimize the force you feel. A blade has a ton of options in which to wedge itself into this armor and cause serious damage or instant death. It looks neat, but it's shit armor.
