Agnostic Atheist, Trans, Lesbian, Polyamorous. Feel free to message me about anything, I like getting a chance to talk with other people on here. Bonus: I'd be happy to debate on any subject! Religion tends to be one of my favorites, but anything will do. If someone gets a screenshot of this to the FP I'll make a beautiful, soul-rending mspaint of whatever the top comment is.

In the name of improving, what propaganda in particular?

If the entire world dramatically changes around you save for your house and backyard, that's basically the same thing as entering a different world.

America as an example of more upsetting, disruptive hallucinations, and parts of Africa as just one example of the more benign variation.

Schizophrenia is a mental illness that causes, among other things, hallucinations that can be indiscernible from reality. The nature of these hallucinations can vary by culture, with more commonly scary, hostile experiences in places where it's used in horror and more commonly playful/benign hallucinations in parts of Africa where it's more associated with little trickster spirits.

I've personally had several conversations with self-proclaimed Christians who claim that. I don't believe most of them, but it's hard to ignore a pattern like that on the scale I've encountered.

Not to beat a dead horse, but that very much is an argument theists do make. If you don't, good on you.
