There's an article resurfacing from 2016 that uses arguments from Plato's The Republic, where once a democracy is too forgiving a tyrant emerges, and it seems to completely explain the Trump effect, down to "an elite that implicates his elite peers in crimes to gain popular support while doing all the bad things." As always I can't find it. I was a STEM kid so I never read the classics but now see the [immense] value in them.
I got sticker shock from the bocal cost itself. I got by on the $20 ali expreess special.
I remember playing Mirror’s Edge running around delivering paper messages to escape the internet and thinking “glad this will never happen.”At least the city looked nice in that dystopia…
Oh look another "Please Clap" moment on the right.
This person a time traveler they predicted these bros went to the island.
The insensitive meme regarding AI is that it stands for "Actually Indians," referencing that time Amazon's self-checkout cashier less stores were run by contractors in India. There have been adjacent examples, the most inhumane one I've seen as of late is the ordering kiosks being run remotely by workers overseas.
Sorry to be that guy it’s recombinant Miles Quaritch who is the stereotype with the ash lady.
Worse yet it knows who is a furry or brony or "respectful looker."
The Marathon LAN sessions were lit. Finding ways to load Maelstrom or Rescue! and hide them in legitimate academic looking folders. Finding ways to play Bolo without the Math teacher noticing.
#1 I was told this is the rationale behind the Homelander character, that he represents an unstoppable oppressive force we all just have to avoid and not face directly because there's no way to win.
THAT’S a garthok???
Make it low-poly and you got Alone In The Dark.
#25 I seem to remember it was pollution clouds and they could raise their magic sky castles to stay above it.
When the Combine invades these guys will still be up and running with the resistance, they probably have their own person in a Hazard Suit already.
Perfect Application but F that sequence haha.
Thank you I was thinking this because I'm failing at using the CPAP machine and rip the mask off angrily 1-2 hours after falling asleep. Getting angry emails about not being 70% compliant...
Hold on a centon!
Apparently the sound is from a dachshund. Learned that at some goofy trivia night.

Except "people's retirement accounts" are only ~10% of the stock market, and the big whales (who actually move it) own the rest.
I see you too played Red Alert and heard Stalin talk about this. Don’t drink the tea!
I’m on a cruise with Royal Caribbean and saw the show and practice session where the incredible girls do this. Never knew it was possible on a slack line!
Likely because all those 80s theme songs were made by Shuki Levy. So many themes from 80s kids childhoods.
Another happy birthday from an internet stranger!
My parents brought me as a baby from Poland to the US in the 1980s. They tell me when they first saw a Toys R Us they were astounded that a country could devote a place so big to its children and what a great country it must be for it to choose and be able to do so.
Didn’t we learn that if we ask the internet to name something it will end up being “City McCityface?”
Not just manuals! Extra content and copy protection booklets, heck my copy of Willy Beamish came with a wristwatch!
