I started my whisky journey with Heritage Distillery Brown Sugar Bourbon (BSB) Very sweet with just a touch of cinnamon. I now freebase Blanton's whenever I can afford it enjoy Dickle's at any age and currently have an open bottle of Chicken Cock straight Kentucky . I guess I learned to roll quickly
However most "Japanese whisky" is really just Scotch made in Japan. There an very few Japanese style whiskys and Suntori makes none of them.
Def for Ardbeg, everything else tastes like chewing on a band-aid
