That's not an excuse not to serve justice. Putting someone in prison for murder doesn't bring the victim back to life.
Well, it would give them the relief that justice had been served. And it would keep the perpetrator from repeating the crime on others.
No rush! Just putting it out there - you can try out your dream someday without needing to commit to a degree/full-time teaching job.
You could also volunteer at a public library, and experience working with kids and help anti-bullying programs, even without a degree!
