...If Keir Starmer has to step down from being Prime Minister because of appointing a member of the Epstein ring as ambassador to the US, it may lead to huge changes in UK politics. Will it mean that nobody with links to Epstein can be elected or appointed by the Labour Party? What about politicians who've taken big donations from rich men linked to Epstein? This could wipe out a whole generation of Labour Party politicians. Note: I'm not saying that's a bad thing.

If you're taking a "business as usual" approach and just accept that there's a ring of rich and powerful pedos that the law can't touch, and the President of the US is part of that ring...then yes, on a practical level, it makes sense to send someone else in that rich pedo ring to be ambassador to the US. But it seems that (at least in the UK), the moral tide has turned, and voters won't accept that rich pedo status quo any more. That's a big fucking deal! ...

Eh, if you have chronic pain and you use the "really good drugs," you turn into an opioid addict. It's just too risky to use that stuff for pain that's not going to go away when you recover from an injury, surgery, etc.
Brother, I'm right there with you. It sucks. Wish I could do something to help. It's hard, especially this time of year, when there is so much social pressure to be happy AND so much extra work to "make Christmas" for others.
