I think that whatever works best for you and your body is what’s you should. You hit a big goal and no matter what congratulations op
I get that. Personally I used the belt for high weight. I’ll do warm up and one working set w/out belt and then use it for my last set
My only recommendation is to consider a back belt, IMO they add a lot of stability when I deadlift
Never trust online people to tell you how to lift. Ask a certified trainer. In the end only you can tell what feels natural to your body
