South Jersey. I've been around the sun 31 times? Neat-o!!! Close to Philly, always down to meet up if you're in the area. Judge me by my favorites, not my posts. Sheesh, I'm not that savage. I fucking love penguins. And will always upvote penguins.

I think people missed the “not in your cut” aspect. Look up a butterfly stitch. Essentially the same. Though scarring with still occur.

Place does not look like an adequate floor covering. If “they” say it is, contact a NWFA person and maybe get them as a testimony to court.

Look up the definition of “floor covering” and fight that based on what is “floor covering” regarding new construction.

While it is a high moisture type of flooring, the floor ultimately failed. Try to find coding for residential structures by state or twp

If a skim-coat adhesive has been applied to the ENTIRE floor, that is typically against manufacturers spec (and my own)

The floor looks to be adhered down to OBS plywood, though a floating floor should never be anchored at any point.

I install flooring. That’s all I can really relay, yet a few questions to pose: is there renters insurance? Is there a basement or crawl-space

I’m a carpenter, it’s almost a guarantee that every house has a cigarette butt somewhere under the carpet. Tradition?

Dry fit cutting. Even worse as the nailer could have an extended handle. Super step, amateur.

My profession. He just made a giant “step”. Not good. He is nailing up a “racked out” dry fit. Nailing pattern is horrible. NWFA: no.

This is why we typically tell customers a white riser instead of stained to match the flooring/tread.
