getting ideas and suggestions is different from copy/paste a decklist and ordering it, though i agree with you, which is why i like to draft
a truly "skilled" play should be able to look at the spoilers and be able to create an awesome deck from it, not that help is bad but 4/5
peoples winning decks. that itself removes much of the skill element to it, building your deck requires more skill than playing it does 3/?
when playing at tourneys one should expect that people would spend money on that shit, another thing is some people just recreate other 2/?
when you play with a mix of people (fnm for example) that happens a lot, when you play with friends thats usually not the case, however 1/?

well to be fair, there will always be outliers, whether or dont you can get a good job also depends on where you live and stuff like that
