I'm just a chick who loves animals, cheese, and the silence of cemeteries.
I have ADHD combined type, diagnosed at 40 (but struggled with it always, no support, just called 'lazy'). I've always struggled with my jobs - what are some careers where you other neuro-spicy people have found success?
The puppy who played Queenie was the same puppy who played Precious in Silence of the Lambs.
Toot.
Yeah, I'm one bad month away from homelessness. And unfortunately, you can't budget your way out of poverty wages.
The problem is that anti-vaxxers are of the "I, Me, Mine" mindset, where they only care about themselves or the people they consider to be 'mine', like their children (and consequentially do not care about "Others"). It's the same mindset that creates problems in other areas as well.
Looks like Caran d'Ache Luminance pencils to me, which are wax-based for those interested.
Blackwings just feel smoother to me, and they have those awesome oblong erasers.
As someone who takes 2 antidepressants and a stimulant for ADHD, I fear for my ability to stay alive.
We memorized it to Freres Jacques.
We used to always eat it with cream cheese. So good!
DM'd you!
I don't know if this is still happening, but - I'm one person in Atlanta, GA. I'm having to use all of my money on rent this month and can't go to the grocery store until at least the 1st.
I live in Atlanta and work in Atlanta. Our transit (bus and train) system is so bad that my daily commute is between 3 and 5 hours per day. Add that to my 12-hr shifts, and I barely have enough time to sleep, let alone eat anything, if I have back-to-back shifts...
It's Leslie Jones.
This is, in fact, an excellent representation of my ADHD brain function.
Looks like a Native American Flute.
And in GA, we go by the federal minimum wage of $7.25/hr because the state minimum wage is $5.15/hr.
Odd. At our hospitals, red bands usually denote the patient's allergies.

That's what I was thinking. Not to mention all the cadmiums and chromiums...
My brain feels that you need extra information (and you also need to know that information is related to the first point). Otherwise, it would be a brand new point.
I have a Master's in Historic Preservation. Can't get a preservation job to save my life. I make less than $17/hour and will most likely be homeless next month as my rent is $1590/mo.
Awesome job! My skate name is Idle Vice. I used to skate with the Middle Georgia Derby Demons, although I bouted a couple of times with the Savannah Derby Devils. I was a utility player, and jamming was always so nerve-wracking/exhilarating.
This requires finding a new job. I've been applying to new jobs since March of 22, and receiving rejection after rejection. I had a professional redo my resume, and that helped me get noticed, but I'm still getting nothing but rejections. I absolutely need a new job (my current one doesn't pay enough to cover rent/bills/food), but even when I make it to the zoom/face to face interview, It's still a rejection.
I'm 44. Same. I have a therapist, but she's not able to give me direction, only encourages me to find my own direction, which seems impossible. My current job/schedule makes it impossible to do anything in my free time besides sleep. I've lost all interest in my creative hobbies. I keep trying to get a new job, but I just get a ton of rejections. Bonus: I don't have a car (in the US), so that limits getting to do things outside of my apartment.
I had a therapist ghost me. I was also diagnosed with ADD at age 40. I don't have any answers - I'm still trying to figure out how to live.
Sorry to ask, but every cent went to pay rent this month, and I'm down to frozen potatoes to last me until the 19th. Just one person in GA, US.
I have Temporal Lobe Epilepsy, so absence seizures (petite mal). I remain aware of my surroundings, but it's like my brain kind of misfires. I do the same think as this girl - if I'm standing up, I make sure I sit down. Unfortunately, I have no aura or warning prior to realizing I'm having a seizure.
They give lorazepam (Ativan) to kids at the hospital where I work.
This would really help me last until next payday. In GA, US.
