Anyway, I bring that up because your post has made me reconsider that position.
One little rant I like to give to religious people (the ones who believe in Hell, anyway) as food for thought is that if Hell exists, God is INFINITELY evil. There is no finite transgression that can ever justify infinite punishment. If it turned out that humans are biologically immortal, but a time traveling Adolf Hitler had personally seen to the death of every single human, past present and future, and he was the ONLY soul in Hell, it would still be INFINITELY disproportionate.
I’m sure he was always crazy, but that he at least tempered that craziness before Trump. I loved him in Person of Interest.
So, Rico must have a lot less sex in the book than he does in the movie?
Yeah… The thing is that a lot of “small government” Republicans would like the state to ban gay relationships.
Whenever someone starts telling a story about a cop, I tend to expect the worst from them. I think stories like this are good to help illustrate that in most departments, most cops are not bad people, but there are bad departments, and even the majority of good departments tend to have at least one cop who’s way too power hungry, and/or racist.
I obviously think you’re right in this case. Though, I worry how that could be used to justify the ideas of an older person who’s an idiot.

That show is wild… The way it has 90’s animation with today’s level of pixels makes it quite beautiful, though.
