This is one of the best things I've seen today. A perfectly executed unity of the people making a stand

That sounds sweet. First get the job, then git good. If this is what you want to be doing, lean into it, train, practice, improve until you're the best there is.

I'm surprised we're not having a day right now

So many differences. Shifters, rotors, seat tube, tyres, back wheel

Sorry for your losses... Also you may become a suspect at this rate

I'm sure it's not all bad... Just comes across pretty bad generally

Not quite on the same scale. Certainly less fun crime and certainly less murder by government appointed officials

If this was taken on a weekend morning, excellent job editing out the vomit, last night's kebab or random drunk asleep on the steps ๐Ÿ‘

I live near this

What are you going to do? Out shoot the bastards? I don't see how carrying a gun helps tackle the fact All Cops are murdering, Corrupt, power hungry cowards (Bastards is an over simplification)

Fully expected that to explode. 5/7 science

Docs are great but I go through the soles pretty quick

If not just from a hard wearing point of view, I think the rubber base made them the icon

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Not sure. Will check. I'm sure my old one doesn't

They look great and feel pretty good on initial inspection. Not sure about the white lining in them but we'll see

Have emailed them about the history and issues with the bag to see if they are covered/can be repaired

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I'll try to remember to post an update in 2 years. Their warranty certainly isn't as coverall as it used to be but I remain optimistic...also, it's certainly not going to get as thrown around and abused as much as my old one did through my teens and 20's

Looks to be the slightly later, leather based packs. I'll contact JanSports and post the response here if they can do anything

It's still usable, although plenty of battle scars at this point. Could maybe see if anything can be done under the 'lifetime' guarantee but felt it was time to update my regular use pack. Haven't tried the new one yet but think it'll take some getting used to after so many years with the old one on my back

Certainly as many adventures. Maybe fewer Minotaurs involved.

Yeah, they do. Had the straps and a few repairs done about 10 years ago. The rubber has started coming away from the material and not sure they'd have the kit to rebond it still. Also, I think most 'lifetime' guarantees are actually 25 years...Plus, I'm happy to update it with one of their new products after all this time. May still contact them at some point

It's synthetic leather on the new ones. I'm guessing not going to be as hard wearing as the super tough rubber base of the old school bags. For me, not too bad as I'm not likely to give it as hard life these days but a shame to see the rubber bases go.

Are waiting areas liminal spaces? I always think of them as places you would just pass through. Although good point about an airport possibly being one as a whole

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Not all of these are liminal spaces
