Don’t blame the many for the greed of a few… the NRA has a powerful wealthy lobbying branch. Many good people want this nightmare to end. It’s hard to fight money and a Supreme Court with a majority that doesn’t care at all about regular people.
The vast majority of Americans are in favor of some form of gun regulation. However, unlike most other democracies, we have a written constitution protecting rights to form a militia, which has been manipulated to fit a powerful minority agenda.

Human rights matter and she is brave. While the IOC is problematic for many reasons, they have a rule that no political statements are allowed while competing and there are some good reasons for it. You can advocate however you want outside your competition slot.

On a first date, I always offered to split the bill. Most of the time in my experience, guys would say “you can get the next one.” Sometimes they let me split it. But I think it’s unfair to expect men to pay.

As a female lawyer, we have reviews every 6 months and are constantly being evaluated for promotions (aka staying with the firm another year). My first three years in practice I barely worked with any female partners. And men constantly get vague “merits bonuses” that female associates are less likely to receive.
Female lawyers tend to make less money higher up in the hierarchy and make less money after returning from maternity leave.

#3 love that template but converting a doc into another format can’t possibly be a reason someone thinks they’re more qualified than their boss. I put PPTs together for my superior, she is also a 30+ year expert in our field. Who gives a f**k that she doesn’t know PPT? Nobody!

Not sure NYC can do that because the truck doesn’t actually reach the trash. A guy jumps out and throws the bags in the back.
There are rules about when you can put trash out and many places do use bins/dumpsters. But yeah for a variety of reasons, people are allowed to put trash bags out for pickup. Until now!
