Oil most likely. Looks like the landing pushed the dirt down and the pan hit. That motor is likely done.
Since the ball is white, they can invert the color in the viewfinder, that makes it easier to follow.

I can’t say, I’ve only used the Klein, but I’ve also had great luck with Irwin tools just not this. IIRC a buddy had Irwin and loved them.
From the US. Used to install satellite tv. Can confirm Klein is the best ever.
