Love this website and the quirky people on it, it brightens my day and helps me get through rough days with ridiculous memes, cool content, and touching stories. Overwatch is my favorite competitive game, I've taken up more casual gaming since my treatment gets in the way of me performing to my best ability. I love my Palico in Monster Hunter, his mustache makes me happy. I'm also low key disgusting at CoD so if you need a carry hmu. If you ever need to talk or message someone, please send me a message. I'm always down to help out if someone needs to talk, I have an optimistic look on life even with the cards I've been dealt and I'd love to help someone see the good and/or the potential for good they have in their lives. Believe me, it's worth it to keep going. Getting through depression and figuring out my difficulties with ADHD brought me to the love of my life and straight to cancer but I wouldn't change that path for anything. You can do the hard things in life, even when you don't believe in yourself, I believe in you and I know you can overcome each hard step no matter how big or small it is.
I was diagnosed with Leukemia (in remission now so no worries) and have had my blood drawn way too much so I get the pain. I have to put my foot down and demand a) an ER nurse (GOAT of IVs) or B) ultrasound team for doing blood draws. I have a single spot on my hand that works but if they need an IV they need the arm. I would say some of it has to do with training but I'm also incredibly difficult to find a vein on. What's really needed is that they don't take "I'm a hard stick" as a challenge.
Drinking Atole is great in winter. Kept me warm, super filling though.
I lost count of the amount of blood transfusions I've had due to leukemia treatment followed by a relapse and then a bone marrow transplant. I'd be dead without people doing what you do. Thank you.

It's painful. First time I had to do it was rough. My Dad shaved it off. The second time my now ex wife shaved it off. Third time I just had a nurse do it. I'm okay now, but man, I'm sorry you and your spouse are having to deal with all this. I promise you she's cherishing every ounce of help she's getting from you whether or not she's able to communicate it. Best of luck to both of you, I understand how hard it can be on family dynamics, but you've done great so far, you'll be able to do this.
