Typical nerd from Finland, move along.
Oh how I miss silence...
You can have flying enemies/high con enemies and enemies that are even immune to being stunned. ??
from what's written in the book. One I use in my games, is that you can drink a potion with a bonus action instead of an action. And similar
Stuff I think is cool and should be a thing, suddenly becomes a thing in the world. And thus is homebrew. Also includes rules that differ/
I'm DM:ing a campaign that's been running from 1 and the players are currently lvl 13 ??
a spell jammer campaign. But riddles are inherently goofy and fun, and fit perfectly in a DnD game.
It's all up to the type of game you want to play. If you want high stakes grimdark with low fantasy, maybe just play Call of Cuthulu or/
Depends heavily on the riddle
Sounds pretty damn dope to me ??
That's assuming you use a full sized bag of holding. Making a smaller one is pretty easy if you have the will and the wizard to do it.
mostever stuff you send them to spice up your character and make them more involved in their world.
Any DM worth their salt doesn't expect novel level writing skills or understanding of their world, and will be very happy to work with/
Ah, that's part of the deal :D messing with your DM is next to mandatory, as long as everyone does it in good humour
Session 0:s save lives, it's a good vibe check for both player chemistry and tone of campaign ??
Depends on the dynamic, but yes, literally chocking the DM is not okay. ??
Ay, thanks :D
It's very important as a DM to know what type of game you AND your players wish to play.
around with Boblin the Goblin and have fun RP, they will most likely ignore your grimdark story about finding who murdered the town mayor.
It's mostly likely either because the mood of the campaign doesn't fit what they want to play, for example if the players want to goof/
Both DM:ing and being a player are maybe 95% about communication, if you truly believe the players are ruining your world./
You can make the Han Solo for somebody's Luke Skywalker, or any other which way around :D
I mean, the best thing about writing it as you go, is that you can be that glue that sticks the party together, or the opposite.
That's how I do it, I don't often even write a backstory for the first 1-2 sessions. I find it more fun even.
It's a Nordic/Scandinavian thing. They also took over our land, and then surrendered us to the USSR without a fight. It's a whole thing.
Jumping through all these hoops when your government can't provide you with plastic recycling opertunities.
The feeling of impending doom is much appriciated.
You figure it, I can't cast a vote from another continent. I just won't be surprised when you reelect Trump.
Not even on my continet, but okay.
I'll definitely have a look, thanks!
Isn't truly a democracy, look at who you're stuck voting for president for example. Oops
