I did not enjoy the black album from Metallica. I was so excited for it and then when I listened to it I was just disappointed. I loved Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets and And Justice for All, but the black album was the last metallica I would ever purchase.
The novelization of the movie was pretty outstanding. The additions to the backstories of the characters were great.
