I notice, but I'm in gamedev... So I look at games differently I guess...
I think in Germany we call that a Tiefsee-Taucher, but i might be wrong.
Underrated
for example gathering manpower, resources etc. from other states is the the state governments job. Laschet did nothing of the sort. 2/2
I use dwd as well to stay informed about extreme weather conditions. But the government of NRW did nothing to prepare for the floods.
There is a difference between the warning system and actually preparing... Read the news.
And this is a bit unrelated. Laschet sacked the catastrophe relief funds in 2019, because they were apparently too costly!
And not to forget that laschet the minister of the state went campaigning instead, when he already knew about the impending catastrophe.
Oh I completely forgot. The interior minister told people these were just isolated incidents when the warnings came in.
They were living in wasn't evacuated. Fire departments lacked equipment bc they were not prepared. Theres probably more. 3/3
To evacuate. None of this was done. Local authorities were clueless until 24h before the floods. 12 disabled people drowned bc the house 2/?
Evacuate facilities with disabled people for a start. Form a task force, prepare the local authorities, tell people in high risk areas 1/?
