Hey dude, it took me until my mid 40’s to see a doctor about it, and I got an SSRI and it has helped, for me.
For what it’s worth, I used to powerlift, hit elite numbers on squat and dead, then switched to running during Covid and trained for and completed a half marathon.
I tried everything without drugs and tried to be strong for so long, and it’s become cliche but I wish I sought help sooner.
P.S. the endorphin rush from running is the best.
