There's also a common Chinese insult which translates literally as "stupid melon" (傻瓜). Some of it could be them calling one another stupid
I was scrolling through thinking "there's nothing unusual about any of these." Then I realised - I'm British. This is who we are.

Serious question: I keep finding these at Chinese markets with paintings of porn (not subtle porn either). Anyone know if that's a thing?

Try applying to teach English in China (or your own language, depending.) Most places hire on degree qualifications rather than TEFL, 1/
