I may look weak at first but when push comes to shove I absolutely suck!
Developing a personality is free, and rather attractive. I suggest you try it!
Different senses of humour. I find it funny; I don't find the actual event funny, but I don't exactly immerse myself so much into the actual event in real life, but rather I laugh since I treat it as a fabricated, made up scenario that never took place and I don't think too much about it. Dark humour. Also, I try and imagine a stupid, comedic theatrical act from it, like making it goofy. Again; it's not rooted in reality.
I somehow doubt that it "sparks fury" at all, and it's more of a clickbait title, isn't it? Because seriously, who gives a fuck if not the attention-craving media outlets?
Peace and War aren't opposites in politics. It's just business. So Board of Peace? It's just a manipulative name, there is no real meaning behind it.
I genuinely can't tell if this is a quote or not. I was initially thinking it's a joke, but then again, it *is* Trump... and now I'm no longer sure and that's...weirding me out.
I don't think of the term 'unlimited' in the literal sense when used in marketing. It's to purvey a concept, and not in a literal sense. If we want to be pedantic then we can start questioning whether or not 'unlimited' as a concept even exists to begin with, so it's kind of nit-picky to get hooked up on that word. We have many words that we use that need to be interpreted based on context, rather than according to a dictionary.
"What if she gets tired of me?" bitch, you're tired of you. Don't project that onto others, let them be themselves and you focus on being a person neither of you would get tired of instead. You're the most awesome version of yourself and if you no longer believe that to be the case, you can work that out given enough time and effort. Let yourself be sad, but don't let that emotion live rent-free. Not even happiness is permanent, so why should misery be? You're okay, you'll be okay.
ADHD isn't any more common than it used to be, we just know of it now and there's more falsely diagnosed, or self-diagnosed ADHD cases because that's what TikTok/YouTube shorts do growing up with it. It's fucked up.
With that said, I am not personally concerned. I see the good in it, as well as the bad. I rather have it than not, but it's rough at the moment, but I think it's too late to stop it and fighting it is fruitless. Better to encourage shaping it into the best it can be, rather than try and stop it. We can protest against wars, but wars will never cease. We can protest against cars, but we'll never stop producing cars. If it makes you sleep at night, do what you will.
Aye. Personally it doesn't scare me, but I can see the concern as people already struggle with confirming sources, and especially if prone to confirmation bias, or for spreading misinformation.
That I do agree with. I find the technology fascinating, but I do think it's a very real concern with how powerful and available the technology is. I think it will be fine, but the beginnings are always the wildest. I mean hell, anybody who grew up when the internet was recently starting to become widely available know what a fucking wild west that was...
....So? I've seen my cats do stupid and funny shit. No reason I can't enjoy an AI video of it. We enjoy fake shit every day.
I giggled, I thought it was absolutely adorable...and that doesn't change. It's a weird feeling to know this is AI generated but my response to it was genuine all the same. This is fascinatingly weird. I'm not going to be angry or upset about it, there's no fighting it, cats are just as real today as before AI after all so it's not like I can't enjoy cats existence, lol.
Yeah. Sally, 14 years. One day when I let her down I found blood on my hands - a tumour on her belly. Had to let her go. Tidus, 15 years old. Fucker lived like a king and he lead a good life. Mister, 10 years old. That came out of fucking nowhere. Happy, energetic, super talkative and cuddly. Same day out of nowhere, he has maybe half a day left to live. BUT he lived like a fucking king together with Tidus also, it's okay.I'm sorry for your loss, mourn and remember them fondly.
Aye, but read it like a hint on what shit he may know that we don't. Elon knows everyone knows that shit, but he might sit on something more
I don't think that's quite what he means. I read it as Elon has more on this shit than just that.
I refuse to kill them and I will panic the entire time that I safely escort them out. I did kill one once and felt super guilty immediately.
I don't know why there's no Edit-feature for comments on Imgur, but as I said in response to DarkZalgo below; I stand corrected. I am not in a position where I am knowledgeable enough on this matter to the point where I should be comfortable to form an opinion, at least not publically express it. Sorry!
Hm, actually, thinking about it some more, I don't think I'm at all knowledgeable enough to speak on this matter, and especially as this is about the US which is something I'm even less familiar with. I spoke too soon, I didn't think through it long enough, so I stand corrected. I should probably try a bit more to refrain from forming some sort of opinion on matters I'm not familiar enough with from now on. (I mean this sincerely, not ironically. It was stupid of me!)
It'd cost $20 billion to end homelessness and...then what? There's a myriad other problems that would arise. You don't 'just' end homelessness. It's as futile as the argument saying "end world hunger" or whatever. Sure, you may have the financial means to do so, in theory. Good fucking luck surviving the assassination attempts from those who stand to gain from it.This isn't so much in defense of Elon, I just think it's stupid fucking virtue signalling to make the argument at all.
I mean, go ahead. That's fine. There's no need to be grumpy about it. (Assuming you meant to sound grumpy, if not, I apologize, and that's cool. You do you. I hope you find a place more suited for you then!)
This is so wild for me to read. Where I live "free wifi" is kind of not even something that is considered, because it's just 'wifi'. Of course it's free, why the shit wouldn't it be? If it's not free, then you're on your own personal mobile plan, not even connected to the wifi at the location you're at.And even then, our plans are so generous that it's hardly an issue unless you wildly abuse the data usage.
Millennial here. I prefer the QR code bullshit. lol.I was so positively surprised when I could just scan the QR code at the restaurant and take my time to look through a menu with pictures and just as much if not more details for each and every dish.Physical menus requires me to interact with a person, and often I feel more stressed by them, and going "what the fuck is this in the menu? And what the fuck is that?" and just settle on something I feel indifferent towards. QR codes are nice.
I mean, they very well could still have been made, but if anything I think it just goes to show that it doesn't fucking matter if you're male or female. I don't get how some people are still so obsessed about genders in this day and age, as if it matters whatsoever.Sure, there's definitely positions where it's more beneficial to be male/female, but just the general "gender-role" line of thinking is so weird. Capability and competence is all. Same with skin-colour. Doesn't. Fucking. Matter.
Yeah, I've been keeping an eye on his response and it doesn't look like he's apologetic whatsoever or even remotely ashamed. Whether or not it's because of Nazi reasons or because he's getting off on provoking people I don't know but man, that's fucked.
The reason I am saying this, by the way, is because I despise when people label people things they are not based on prejudice and bias. I hate when people throw around labels such as "nazi" and "racist", because it just becomes more of a buzz-word than actually meaning anything. They are far, far more serious than just a buzz-word.I have zero tolerance for Nazis, and Elon is no exception if that is indeed the case, but as of right now I can't claim that in full confidence.
When I say 'personally' I don't mean that I need to meet him in person or anything such, but I am not comfortable labelling somebody a Nazi for what could potentially be a stupid, awkward, albeit extremely bad mistake.I'm not saying it's definitely a mistake, I'm saying if it is, I'd look real fucking stupid for condemning somebody for a mistake. This extends to any- and everybody, and right now I simply don't feel like I have sufficient knowledge to draw such a conclusion.
Oh believe me, I was stunned when I saw him do that. My mother and I both audibly said "What the fuck?"I'm not endorsing this, I don't know how people are getting that idea just because I'm willing to wait for more information. It's not like I'm saying "Oh he's a good guy and I love him!" just because I want answers.I think this is fucked up, which is also why I think it's extremely important to get more info...
I understand that Elon's not endorsed, but why am I getting downvoted? I'm not supporting him by being baffled by how fucking bizarre that gesture is. I don't *want* that to be what he intended, because that is scary shit and if it is. I am not endorsing that, at all.But I think it's extremely toxic to immediately jump to conclusions and violence the moment something *looks* bad, and oh boy this looks bad to say the least.
So if it turns out that he indeed intended for it to be a nazi gesture, and if he somehow endorses that and won't explain himself for it that it was clumsiness, which can happen, God knows I've done some really fucking clumsy gestures before thinking, then by all means, toss him off the deep end. Fuck that.I just don't like to act on negative emotions immediately, regardless of my opinion of a person.
