+1, excellent advice. Don’t want to devalue that, but protesting is important as a facet of activism. Doing one doesn’t exclude the other
I agree, those are very good ways for positive change. But also being a protester shows solidarity, yes? Not everyone can be a mentor
Do you have a recommendation on what people can do on the meantime? Or did you just want to get your opinion heard?

Agreed that blacks are disproportionately victims. But what I’ve found with conservative FB friends: they stop listening if you don’t
Stop cherry-picking cases. Person-on-person violence is reprehensible, but when there’s dozens of police brutality cases, it needs attention
Unfortunately some people do, and some people also believe all black people are evil. We need discussion to cut through these false notions
