You must gather your party to venture forth.
If you like Baldur's Gate 2, try Pathfinder: Kingmaker. It had a rocky launch, but as far as CRPG's go, nothing got as close to BG imo.

But artificial sunrises are in a sense more beautiful because their beauty is enriched by the appreciation of the artist's craftsmanship :)
For me, artificial beauty is more admirable, because someone had to work their ass off to create it, unlike natural beauty, which just is.
