Not really worth the debate but you said “No we didn’t” to “We ever elected.” You added the qualifier about the popular vote afterwards which I fully agree with and point to as a reason why the electoral college should be abolished, but under the rules at the time, we elected him. And just because they falsely deny the election, we shouldn’t either. I’m not big on the “high road” agenda anymore but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ we should at least still speak in facts.
We did elect him even if we dislike the process or the results.
