39, fuck.
Games used to fit on a floppy disk. Then on a CD. Then on a DVD. Then on a BlueRay. Just make better hard copies.
I have a microscopic violin, but I fear that it will be much too large for this situation.
The Nintendo switch release of Skyrim had several bugs from the original 1.0 release, 11 years prior. So no, probably not.
Pretty much yeah. Lithium is the charcoal, the electrolyte the lighter fluid.
That will happily burn, sure, but it's the electrolyte that ignites on contact with oxygen. Same reason a cell phone battery ignites if you puncture it.
Yeah that's one of the reasons some people are super invested in getting solid state vehicle batteries up and running. The liquid electrolyte in lithium batteries makes gasoline look like tap water.
Liquid fuel no, but lithium batteries have a liquid electrolyte that is stupid fucking flammable. Makes gasoline look like tap water in comparison.
It's not like they're going to keep flying them if one of the planes crashes.
Stalin is not generally considered "a good guy", no.
Unless you really want to argue fine details, tankies are functionally the same as Stalinists.
Related to your sentiment. "The code is a floor not a ceiling, and it's written in the blood of workers that died screaming."
Lol, lmao. But also, fucking stop it with the graphs that don't have the y-axis start at 0. They suck ass and are misleading.
The dead and gay comedy forum is still around. Lowtax is not, RIP in piss
Nah man, the taxman turned out to be a huge piece of shit, rest in piss, glad he Cobained himself.
Reagan and the Red Scare branding anything remotely collectivist as "communism"
I'm in the same boat. Event Horizon is fine, and one of my favourite movies. It never dwells or lingers on gore, and there's not much of it to begin with. I'd say about on par with Alien.

The biggest difference is that an ICE fire is way way waaaay easier to put out than a bEV one.
Well the quoted statistics are for all EVs together. You don't see a VW or a Hyundai catch fire basically ever. If you compared specifically teslas, that's going to be a far less favourable comparison. The statistic is also misleading, most ICE vehicle fires are minor and easily dealt with. That's very much not the case for EVs
This is true, but also extremely misleading. Yes ICE vehicles catch fire more, but the vast majority of those fires are minor and easy to deal with. When a bEV one catch fire, it's always a major inferno thanks to the lithium battery.
Watching clips from that, yeah Bernie is old but very much alive. RFK meanwhile came across like a corpse reanimated by a necromancer that graduated necromancy school by the lowest possible passing grade.
You think that because you haven't (presumably) worked in logistics. Shipping to one or a few central locations then branching out from there is by far the most efficient on the whole. It just looks silly when the thing you ordered is shipped 500 miles to a warehouse, then sent back to a customer 10 miles away from where it was manufactured
Roads go to more than one single place. Truck one goes from A to B, truck 2 from C to D. Their paths cross on this particular stretch of road.
#1 I'm grabbing fan and running to the bathtub to be an environmental storytelling skeleton
Quite normal in an oligarchy
Nah they just roll their face across both buttons without even a hint of irony
Peace through power!
Sure, but there's literally over a decade between those and the Activision takeover. Personally I'd throw WC3 in there too, but they never topped Brood War, WC3 and D2 in all the years that have passed.
