The Costco's near me had the variety pack a few months ago - Nuka Quantum, Nuka Grape and Sunset Sarsaparilla, and it came with a blue bag and blue Vault Tec opener. I had like 8 blue-star caps, none won for the draw, then Jones decides they have a second draw in March...

I miss some of my 90's cargo pants - I could store so much crap in them. Discman on one side, gameboy mini or snacks on the other side.. wallet on one hip/ass pocket, change in another. if I had a hoodie on then there was room for a coke and somewhere to story my toque if it was cold out (hood rarely actually went up).

well yeah, there's gotta be something they can see that I don't and they're trying to light it up for me... slow down in case you don't see it in time.

yeah, it doesn't do any of this, it's just sold with the idea it might.

placebo tape. some people think it supports the tendons and muscles underneath the skin, but it doesn't. that's what connective tissues do. this tape merely gives the sensation of support since it's pulling on skin.

Any EU country with an contract to buy F35's should cancel and buy the Gripen, Rafale or Typhoon. Us Canadians should tell the US to piss off too. We've got plenty of roads that could double as secondary airstrips similar to what Sweden does.

hypothermia isn't instant... you have between 5-10 minutes before you start not being able to swim or move in freezing waters. The first minute is the gasping response that some people can learn to control... those who can't and are plunged in are the ones who gasp and suck in water. This isn't that - from her reaction, she's been in cold water before. The 10-15 minute mark is where things go bad, and after that you're usually done for unless someone else is there to pull you out.

One of my dad's best friends had a vw beetle back in the 80's and had a cooler of beer in the back seat that leaked ALL of the ice/water out of it overnight. Less than a week later he was driving it to work and the engine compartment caught fire and it was a total loss. Not sure if the fire was related to the whole back end getting wet - probably an electrical short, but he swore that it was the water that caused his big to burn to the frame.

it's like people didn't live through a time where everything required a workaround - back in my day, we had to find the correct video drivers before we could enjoy non-interlacing or the correct audio drivers or our game was silent. Sideloading UO is simple compared to the shit we had in the 80's and 90's. You're spoiled expecting shit to just work...

* southern US. I'm in Canada and have a pool (it was installed in like 1983 and came with the house when we bought in 2004), we have flexible vinyl liners in our outdoor pools here because this would start to chip and crack after the first winter.

I believe they also changed to a different (inferior) coffee supplier and McDonald's Canada swung in and bought the rights to the original coffee supplier, so if you're looking for that original Tim's flavour, try a mcD coffee instead. I can't stand the coffee at Tims anymore, and everything is so small (donuts especially).. McD's are almost as prevalent too, at least where I am.

pilot whales look like tiny grey orcas. Sperm whales have the narrow lower jaw - visible halfway through the video as it rolls over and swims under the boat. Fun facts: They can't roll their eyes in their eye sockets so they have to roll their bodies to look up. They can protrude and retract their eyes though...
