If you cant take an hour out of your life to retrieve important government documentation, there is more wrong going on. What if you have to go to the doctor? Or a mechanic?

"And if you're talking about thousands of elderly, in particular, they can't wait that long.". Fair. But hardly all of them are elderly. So the article is saying you may have to wait 1 hour or more to get a FREE non-driver ID. Yet they are still not able to get one. Wrong birth certificate, thats a valid issue though.

quote: "As far as the states go, they are issuing non-driver voter IDs. Many of them are for free, but the problem is, when you go to Department of Motor Vehicle offices, the waits are very long, they're time consuming. " [..] "he has expressed concern about the average wait times there, which extend well beyond an hour.". Really? 1h is considered long? I waited around 2-3h on my appointment

Thanks for the link, but many of these reasons are not that good. For one: no drivers license? other ID. This was the best: (1/N)

How? What stops them from having an ID?

It's a target marker, so the drones know where to fire at.

But where is it? I only hear of how great and cheap it is. But why has it not been built already?

E = m x g x h. This is way too less mass to be actually useful, compared to pumped hydro

which it can have, with molten salt storage. Its an extra loop between the reactor and the steam turbine, with amazing energy densities.

we can reduce the waste in a breeder reactor to some degree

modern reactors react quick enough however so that a load following operation is possible

anyone recall the ancient game "pushover" with that ant?

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

true. you buy a finished product. no building for 6 years only to have the project canceled

it shows the "best decade" for some green power sources. as you see, even the peak decade for wind was not a lot. its just too slow.

well, a "record year" is not worth a lot without comparison. see this for example:

plants, than that 95% is not surprising at all

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That sounds nice at first, but if you consider that nuclear plants take longer than 2026 to be finshed, and that we also dont add new coal

not in the short run, true.
